Shihan Haribabu's obsession with martial arts began in his childhood. His dedication and technical excellence has earned him the respect of his peers and won him critical acclaim. He is a directstudent of Hanshi Kinjo Masakazu, having lived and trained in Okinawa for several years.

He has competed at the highest level in several championships in Okinawa and Japan and has won 1st place (Sai) at the All Japan Open Kobudo Championship' in Tokyo, May 2004.

He was awarded the rank of 5th Dan and bestowed the title of 'Shihan', by Hanshi Kinjo Masakazu in Okinawa on 29th March 2017.
